These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Metropolitan Digital Bureau (Pvt) Ltd (“MDB”, “we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

These terms cover the website only. Events, decorations, exhibitions, marketing and other services we provide are governed by the separate quotation, proposal or agreement you sign with us.

You may browse, share and link to our pages for personal and business purposes. You agree not to:

• use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its admin area, servers or databases;
• introduce viruses or harmful code, or overload the site with automated requests;
• scrape or copy content in bulk, or use it to train AI models, without our written permission;
• send false analytics data or otherwise interfere with how the site works;
• impersonate MDB or any of our brands, staff or partners.

We may suspend access to anyone who breaks these rules.

We work hard to keep the website accurate and up to date, but its content — including descriptions of services, event details, dates, venues, photos, packages and prices — is for general information only and isn’t an offer. Everything is subject to availability and written confirmation. Photos show past work and may differ from future events.

When you contact us through WhatsApp, phone, email or social media, no contract is formed until we confirm a booking in writing. Prices, payment schedules, cancellation and refund terms are set out in your individual quotation or agreement. Messages sent through WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram are also subject to those platforms’ own terms.

The website and its content — text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, the website design and code — are owned by Metropolitan Digital Bureau (Pvt) Ltd or used under licence, and are protected by the Intellectual Property Act, No. 36 of 2003 of Sri Lanka and international copyright and trademark laws.

The names and logos of MDB and our brands (MDB Digital Marketing, MDB Shopping Paradise, Metropolitan College of Higher Studies, Lé Vendors) are our trademarks. You may not copy, modify, republish or use them commercially without our written permission. Third-party names and logos belong to their respective owners.

The site links to and embeds services run by others, such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, listed in the next section.

For transparency, this is the technology this website is built with and the services it relies on. Each entry links to the provider’s own terms, privacy policy or open-source licence, which apply to that part of the service. Open-source software is used under its licence; the copyright notices remain with their authors.

To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses, or that its content is complete or suitable for any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Metropolitan Digital Bureau (Pvt) Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data or business, arising from your use of — or inability to use — this website or sites linked to it. We don’t exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be excluded by law.

You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the website.

We may update these terms or the website at any time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka, though we’ll always try to resolve concerns with you directly first. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
